Elizabeth’s Bio
Mezzo-Soprano Elizabeth Neumeyer is an emerging young artist whose unique instrument has been featured in performances throughout the United States. Neumeyer’s operatic credits include Baba in Menotti’s The Medium, Little Buttercup in Gilbert & Sullivan’s H.M.S. Pinafore, Dritte Dame in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte (both in English & German), La Badessa in Puccini’s Suor Angelica, and Bradamante in Händel’s Alcina. In addition to her operatic endevors, Neumeyer holds a background in musical theater, performing the roles of Nettie Fowler in Rodger’s & Hammerstein’s Carousel, and Morgan Le Fay in Lerner & Lowe’s Camelot.
During the Summers of 2025 & 2026, Neumeyer performed as a young artist with the Janiec Opera Company of the Brevard Music Center, singing various roles, opera choruses and concerts with the company. During the Summer of 2025, Neumeyer preformed alongside the United States Air Force Singing Sergeants in Brevard Music Center’s Pendergrast Family Patriotic Pops Concert.
Besides her stage production experience, Neumeyer has won various regional and national awards from Schmidt Vocal Arts, National Society of Arts and Letters, Opera Modesto, and the California Capitol NATS Chapter.
In addition to the awards Neumeyer has received, she has participated in masterclasses with industry professionals such as Joyce DiDonato, Daniela Mack, Lyubov Petrova, John De Haan, Louis Burkot, and Ken Benson, to name a few.
Neumeyer is currently pursuing her Bachelors of Music at the University of the Pacific Conservatory of Music, where she is a fourth year student of Tenor Daniel Ebbers. She additionally receives secondary lessons from Soprano Christine Goerke, and has previously studied with Sopranos Dr. Sherry Overholt and Jennifer Grimaldi Toohey.
